About Fujifilm Tilburg
Fujifilm is globally known for its photographic and graphic products and is experiencing strong growth in healthcare and other innovative markets. Two entities are based in Tilburg: FUJIFILM Europe BV, part of the European headquarters where supply chain, procurement, IT and finance are coordinated, and FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe BV, where photo paper, membranes and cell culture media for the biopharmaceutical industry are produced. At Fujifilm in Tilburg, you contribute to products and technologies that improve lives.
About the role
In this role, you will be part of the Tax Team Europe and be responsible for corporate income tax matters relating to the Dutch fiscal unity and various European entities. You report to the Finance Manager of FENL.
The focus is on Dutch corporate income tax and transfer pricing. You ensure that intercompany relationships are properly documented and remain up to date by drafting and maintaining intercompany agreements, together with external advisors, and by updating annual benchmark studies for European group entities.
A key element of the role is the renewal and ongoing management of the BAPA between Japan and the Netherlands. Together with the finance department, you monitor the financial results of the European sales entities within the agreed operating profit ranges and oversee any necessary adjustments. In this capacity, you represent FENL in regular meetings with the tax authorities in the Netherlands and Germany and, where required, in contacts with the Ministry of Finance, together with the Finance Manager.
In addition, you participate in and advise on tax aspects of European restructuring projects. You closely follow developments in corporate income tax legislation and translate these into concrete actions for the organization. You advise the business and safeguard a sound tax position for both the Dutch fiscal unity and the European entities. You are also responsible for ensuring tax compliance for the Dutch group.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A completed university degree in Business Economics, Tax Law or Finance
- At least five years of relevant experience within an international environment
- Solid knowledge of Dutch and international corporate income tax and transfer pricing
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
- The ability to interpret tax legislation and translate it into practical solutions
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- A goal-oriented and adaptable mindset
- A strategic perspective and cross-functional awareness
Position within the organization
The Tax Specialist reports directly to the Finance Manager of FENL and is based in the Netherlands. The majority of the European tax team is also based at FENL in the Netherlands and consists of four colleagues. In addition, two team members are based in Poland. Depending on future developments, particularly restructuring projects, occasional travel to FEG in Ratingen, Germany, may be required.
